Stories for Smiles

A fun two day feast of magical storytelling

Stories for Smiles is a sponsored read of chosen children's books and will take place during half term week on the 1st and 2nd of November in the excellent Children's Department at Waterstones in Cambridge.

Local celebrities will also be taking part in Stories for Smiles, bringing the stories alive with their unique voices. These include actor Richard Heffer, local MP Julian Huppert, and even the Mayor of Cambridge, with more signing up every week! Local children's authors Nicola Killen, Dave Shelton & Kathy Henderson will open 3-5 yr old sessions of their own books and Helen Moss will also take part - a great opportunity to hear writers reading their own stories.
